While in quarantine, Boston-based creatives Maria Finkelmeier (percussionist, composer, and producer) and Allison Tanenhaus (digital glitch artist) shared stories of ambition, moments of frustration, and obsessions with experimentation via email and phone calls, manifesting as music videos that represent the duo’s playful grit.
The result: abstract geometrics, vibrant dimensional shifts, and fluid pixel manipulations meet visceral rhythmic gestures, glittery melodies, and off-kilter loops in the duo’s first series of collaborations. And a bunch of jaw-dropping public art projects, to boot.
